1、such..that和so..that的區(qū)別和用法such…that…與so…that…都可以用來(lái)引導(dǎo)結(jié)果狀語(yǔ)從句，意為“如此……以致……”。
2、（1）such是形容詞，它所修飾的名詞可以是可數(shù)名詞，也可以是不可數(shù)名詞；名詞前面可以帶形容詞，也可以不帶。
3、如果其后是單數(shù)可數(shù)名詞，前面需加不定冠詞a或an。
4、因此，such…that…的句型結(jié)構(gòu)可分為以下三種：①such+a（n）（+adj.）+單數(shù)可數(shù)名詞+that從句。
5、如：She is such a good teacher that all of us love and respect her.她是一位很好的老師，我們都敬愛(ài)她。
6、Table tennis is such an interesting game that people all over the world play it.乒乓球是一項(xiàng)很有趣的運(yùn)動(dòng)，以致全世界的人都參加這項(xiàng)運(yùn)動(dòng)。
7、②such（+adj.）+復(fù)數(shù)可數(shù)名詞+that從句。
8、如：They are such interesting books that I want to read them once more.這些書非常有趣，我想再讀一遍。
9、③such（adj.）+不可數(shù)名詞+that從句。
10、如：It was such bad weather that I had to stay at home.天氣太壞，以致我不得不呆在家里。
11、（2）so是副詞，與形容詞或副詞連用，其結(jié)構(gòu)是：so+adj.（adv.）+that從句。
12、如：He ran so fast that I couldn’t catch up with him.他跑得那么快，我趕不上他。
13、I am so sleepy that I can hardly keep my eyes open.我太瞌睡了，眼睛幾乎睜不開(kāi)了。
14、注意：①當(dāng)名詞前面有many，much，few，little等表示數(shù)量多少的限定詞時(shí)，應(yīng)該用so，而不能用such。
15、如：There were so many people in the street watching the fire that firefighters could not get close to the building.街上圍觀大火的人太多了，消防隊(duì)員無(wú)法靠近大樓。
16、②當(dāng)單數(shù)名詞前有形容詞時(shí)，既可用so，也可用such，但不定冠詞的位置卻有所不同。
17、如：This is such an important meeting that you should attend it.（=This is so important a meeting that you should attend it.）這是一次很重要的會(huì)議，你一定要參加。
